The EDX01 is an external load system for helicopters of the type EC 155. It is attached above the rear cabin doors (one or both sides) and offers two attachment points / couplings for rope systems per device.

  • Simultaneous operation of four couplings per helicopter (one device per side)
  • High payload of up to 280kg plus 25kg rope weight per coupling
  • Manual (or pyroelectric) emergency release under maximum load
  • No modification to the helicopter required
  • Low system weight (<24kg per device)
  • NVG friendly
