RescueBeam now in service
The RescueBeam as preformed its first missions in the Austrian Alps by rescue operators. AirAccess’ RescueBeam is an anti-rotation fixed rope harness that provides stability and control for mountain rescues. Due to the depression of pendulum and rotary tendencies, no additional persons are required to operate anti-rotation leashes. RescueBeam allows for the simultaneous evacuation of five people out of tight corridors. To drop off mountain rescue crews in tight corridors where a landing is not possible, ecms’ systems allow crews to safely get to otherwise inaccessible areas.
